About
I’ve never followed a traditional path — art and a good ole fashioned challenge has always called to me. After graduating from high school I became a tattoo artist, backpacker, state arm wresting champion, and rock climber.
Always seeking the next mountain to climb, I came to Boulder, CO to climb and learn to cobble rock climbing shoes. I quickly hit my goals of climbing 5.13 and designing and fabricating my first pair of climbing shoes, but I wanted more.
I realized that while I’d learned artistic techniques, rubber and leather manipulation, basic template and design creation, and user needs — I wanted to learn more and discover additional materials and programs. I've always applied my personal motto of "Good enough sucks." to anything I undertake. I enrolled at Metropolitan State University, and pursued a degree in Industrial Design.
My hope is one day my designs will impact people for the better and leave a lasting positive impression.
